TRAINING
We are excited to introduce Emilly - our new trainer! With over nine years experience in training and caring for dogs in a social environment, Emilly specializes in positive reinforcement training. We will be offering a variety of classes, along with private sessions (@ Sparky's and in-home), train-while-you-play and train-while-you-stay. Check out the descriptions below to see which option will work for you. Or give Emilly a call (828-254-5772) and discuss your particular situation.
Puppy Class - This is a perfect option for dogs under one year old to learn basic obedience, as well as puppy-specific issues, such as potty training, mouthing, and social play time. 7 week class/$120 CLASS STARTS OCT 11th!
Novice Class - Do you have an adult dog that needs to learn basic manners? Or maybe needs a refresher course? This is the class for you. The class will cover all basic obedience, as well as particular issues the class participates bring up. 7 week class/$120
Intermediate Class - This class will focus on advanced obedience. If you'd like to add to your dog's repertoire, this is your best option. 7 week class/$120
Private Sessions - If you have a specific issue to address, a private session might be just the trick. Emilly will meet one-on-one with you and your dog and focus on the issue at hand. These usually last an hour to an hour and a half. In office, $60 On location, $70 (there may be an additional charge for excessive travel.)
Train-While-You-Play - This is a great add-on to playcare. If your dog needs to work on a particular issue, Emilly can give them a private hour-long training session while they are at Sparky's for daycare. $30/session (plus the cost of daycare)
Train-While-You-Stay - Now your dog can receive training while they board! Our intensive training is available for one or two week stays. You will have a private consultation with Emilly to discuss your training goals, then your dog will get 6 one-hour training sessions while they are boarding at Sparky's. A follow-up meeting will provide you will the necessary information to reinforce your dog's new skills. $240/1 week $420/2 weeks (plus the cost of boarding)
